1. The first step of my digital drawing process is inking of scanned pencil sketch. The first layer is for the main contours of objects and the second is for more thin lines of details, seams, borders etc. Also I have one more layer for the patterns that I'll turn off right after the coloring. 2. Then I make the hole group of contour layers 50% opacity for better control of filling. I have separate Fill layers with Masks for every flat color and one or two single layers for some small multicolored details. 3. The third step is adding of textures. I have my own customized brushes for that but usually I have to combine them to get the necessary look of some material. In general that is some even pattern of more lighter (white) or darker (black) colors to add pattern, color variations, scratches, roughness, granularity etc. I make textures for every flat color layer using their masks, that automatically restrict them. Almost all of my layers have masks - that is some bullet point of my method. 4.5. For adding lighting I need to turn off the group of textures. Now I have clear look on the geometry of the objects and can create gradient junctions without color noises of textures. The first layer that I create is the layer of main light or main shadow that have the summary mask of all colors and cover all the surface. Then I use large soft brushes with zero Hardness and very low Flow to create lighting from different sources separately. 6. Adding of deep shadows. The main shadow has illumination from the sky and reflected light. And deep shadows are much darker places. 7. Now I can show the textures and adjust opacity and modes of lighting layers to make them transparent. Usually I have to create the duplicates and combine them with various opacity and modes. That's all one big experiment. Sometimes after that I have to duplicate many textures and locate those copies above the group of lighting layers to reinforce the effect. Also I create those sources of light and finally add glares from them. Lightsabers and Forse lighting are the result of simple work with styles of layers - combination of various outside glow. 8. In the end I create background using single gradients, corrective layers, same texture brushes and same colors of main lighting/shadow to correspond needed atmosphere. That's strange but the group of the background is situated on the top and only lightsabers and letters are above it. Guess why and how. Belonging, signature, curtain.

Нужно всё с нуля создать: персонажей, окружающий мир, свет, тени, ай-ай-ай... А у вас такие картинки. Даже сначало можно подумать, что 3D. Если не ошибаюсь это Иллюстратион и Фотошоп? А рисование планшетом?

А вот, что касается 3D, то тут у меня точно создание. Тут уже это можно сравнить с творчеством Бога-создателя. Нужно всё с нуля создать: персонажей, окружающий мир, свет, тени, ай-ай-ай...
А у вас такие картинки. Даже сначало можно подумать, что 3D. Если не ошибаюсь это Иллюстратион и Фотошоп? А рисование планшетом?
